Duties
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote comfort and independence
- Support clients in adhering to their personalized care plans, ensuring all health and safety protocols are followed
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients’ well-being and social engagement
- Maintain accurate records of care provided using IT regularly in collaboration with healthcare professionals
- Communicate effectively with clients, family members, and team members to ensure seamless care delivery
- Monitor clients’ health status and report any changes or concerns promptly to supervisors or healthcare providers
Qualifications
- Experience working in a care home or providing home care services is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for those new to the field
- Ability to read, write, and communicate fluently in English for clear documentation and effective interaction
- Basic IT skills for maintaining electronic care records accurately
- Strong communication skills to build trust and rapport with clients and team members
- Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to support others’ well-being
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to personal care roles is advantageous
