Brysons has been operating as a craft bakery and confectionery business in Keswick, Cumbria, since 1947. Our high quality product range includes morning goods (bread, rolls and pastries), cakes, fancies, biscuits and savouries.
In addition to supplying our own shops and tearooms across the Lake District, we also sell to other retailers including a number of supermarket chains and smaller independents including Booths, Lakes and Dales, Cranstons, Westmorland (Tebay) Farm Shops, Morrisons and Co-ops.
We currently have an opportunity on our day shift bakery team, where we manufacture cakes, biscuits and savouries.
The role is 5 shifts per week Monday to Friday, start time 5 am finish 2 pm.
Some bakery experience would be preferable, however attitude and commitment is most important, as a full training programme will be provided.
Duties
- Follow recipes accurately to ensure consistency in taste and presentation.
- Monitor the baking process to ensure products are baked to perfection.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the bakery, adhering to food safety standards.
- Collaborate with other production staff to ensure efficient food production and service.
- Stay updated on industry trends and techniques to continually improve baking skills.
