Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Panel Saw Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating panel saw machinery to accurately cut various materials to precise specifications. Your expertise will ensure high-quality production, efficient workflow, and adherence to safety standards. Responsibilities
- Use hand tools, measuring devices, and basic math skills to verify dimensions and ensure precise material cuts.
- Handle materials safely within the warehouse or fabrication area, including loading, unloading, and moving materials using appropriate handling equipment.
- Maintain and adjust tooling on the panel saw to optimize performance and extend equipment lifespan.
- Perform routine inspections of machinery for safety hazards or malfunctions, troubleshooting issues as needed.
- Keep detailed records of production runs, material usage, and maintenance activities in compliance with quality standards.
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating panel saws or similar fabrication machinery in a manufacturing or warehouse setting.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with familiarity in fabrication techniques such as milling, welding, and assembly.
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and quality checks during production.
- Knowledge of materials such as MFC and MDF commonly used in fabrication environments.
