Stryke Studio is a growing fitness and training facility in the heart of Beckenham, and we're hiring a Membership Sales Representative with one focus: grow our membership base and keep our current members happy. No facility management, no rotas — just sales and service, done brilliantly.
The Role
You'll be the face of Stryke Studio for every prospect who walks through the door and every member who's already part of the community. Your job is to turn enquiries into sign-ups and members into long-term advocates.
This role begins with a 2-week probationary period, during which you'll be expected to demonstrate your sales ability and customer service standards.
Growing Memberships
- Own the sales pipeline: respond to enquiries fast, book and lead studio tours, and close sign-ups
- Follow up every lead — calls, texts, emails — until you get a yes or a no
- Hit monthly sign-up targets and report your numbers weekly
- Run referral schemes and encourage members to bring friends
- Support open days, local events, and social media campaigns that bring new faces in
- Spot upsell opportunities: PT packages, class bundles, upgrades
Retaining Members
- Deliver standout customer service at every touchpoint — front desk, phone, email
- Check in with members regularly; know their names, goals, and progress
- Handle complaints and cancellation requests with empathy — and save the relationship where you can
- Run win-back outreach to lapsed members
- Gather feedback and flag issues before they become cancellations
What We're Looking For
- Proven sales experience — gym/leisure background a big plus, but great salespeople from any industry welcome
- Genuinely excellent customer service skills: warm, attentive, and professional
- Confident on the phone and in person; resilient with follow-ups
- Organised with CRM/booking systems and lead tracking
- A people person who fits a fitness community — energetic, positive, reliable
