We have an exciting opportunity to join the Adult Learning Disabilities service as a Band 4 PA / Senior Administrator to the General Manager and Leadership team. The ideal candidate would provide high-quality, confidential, and comprehensive administrative and secretarial support.
The role is integral to the effective operation of services, involving the management of complex administrative processes, coordination of meetings and events, handling of sensitive information, and support across business, financial, and information governance functions. Post holders will be expected to use their initiative and judgement to prioritise workloads, maintain robust systems, and ensure the smooth running of the respective teams.
Adult Learning Disabilities are based across the Durham, Tees Valley area therefore the post holder will be expected to travel across the speciality to support meetings and events and therefore remote working would not be suitable due to the role requirements.
Base to be determined at interview with the successful candidate.
You must have the Right to Work in the UK in order to be successfully appointed to this role. Please note, this role does not meet the required eligibility criteria for sponsorship under the Skilled Worker visa and therefore the Trust is unable to offer sponsorship for this particular role.
- Provide high quality, confidential administrative and secretarial support to the General Manager and Leadership team.
- Coordinate and support meetings, including diary management, preparation of agendas and papers, and minute taking.
- Manage sensitive and complex information in line with information governance and confidentiality requirements.
- Act as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, using good judgement and initiative to prioritise workload.
- Assist with events, presentations, travel and general office administration to ensure the smooth running of the service.
- Ability to travel independently in accordance with Trust policies and service needs.
