Overview
We are seeking a versatile Handy Man/woman to join our team Maintaining gardens around the Nortwhich area. The ideal candidate will possess a broad range of practical skills and experience in using power tools eg hedge cutter, lawn mower etc.
This role involves performing various duties that contribute to the upkeep of properties and the grounds all the while ensuring work is carried out in a safe, functional, and pleasing manor.
The ideal candidate will work both indoors and outdoors, engaging in tasks that may include Gardening,landscaping, general repairs, and groundskeeping.
The role to start is for 3-4 days per week and will increase in time.
Responsibilities
- Operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively.
- Perform landscape maintenance, including mowing, pruning, and weeding.
- Assist with the installation and repair of garden features such as fences, patios, and pathways.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of work areas.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from clients or management.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations while performing all tasks.
- Collaborate with other team members to complete larger projects efficiently.
Experience
- Proven experience in maintenance or maintenance person roles is preferred.
- Familiarity with power tools and hand tools is essential.
- Experience in landscape maintenance.
- Skills in groundskeeping and gardening are advantageous.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Driving license is essential.
- Must have a keen interest in gardening.
