Location: HMP Grendon, Edgcott, Aylesbury HP18 0TL
Hours: 15 hours per week, 52 weeks per year (Mon-Thurs - 3 x afternoons)
Salary: Up to £15,257 pro rata (£38,144 FTE - Subject to experience)
This role would be working Part Time - 15 hours/wk, 3 x afternoons only - can be flexible which 3 days from Mon-Thurs. This is set due to the prison operating regime so we cannot flex on the working hours.
MK College Group has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Creative Industries Lecturer to join the education team based at HMP Grendon on a part-time basis. This position provides an opportunity to develop and deliver a curriculum that complements the Therapeutic Community model within the prison and supports learners' personal growth and rehabilitation.
This role is ideal for someone with a professional background in a creative discipline such as Music, Art, Drama, Creative Media, Performing Arts, Design or a related field, combined with teaching or learner-facilitation experience.
The programme will deliver Creative Industries skills and experiences to learners within the prison, drawing on creative practices and disciplines that may include music, visual arts, drama, performance, creative media and other relevant areas.
