We're looking for a Qualifying Supervisor / Surveyor to play a pivotal role in ensuring the safe, compliant and efficient delivery of electrical installations, maintenance, testing and remedial works. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys combining hands-on technical knowledge with leadership, mentoring and compliance oversight.
What you'll be doing
As our Qualifying Supervisor / Surveyor, you'll be responsible for providing technical leadership and ensuring all electrical works meet the highest standards of safety, quality and compliance.
Key responsibilities include:
· Supervising a team of electricians and supporting day-to-day service delivery
· Signing off completed works in accordance with NICEIC requirements
· Providing expert technical guidance to colleagues and customers
· Conducting detailed electrical surveys and scoping projects, including renewable technologies
· Carrying out quality, safety and compliance audits and driving continuous improvement
· Undertaking site inspections and client audits
· Delivering toolbox talks and supporting team engagement initiatives
· Coaching and developing apprentices and electrical colleagues
· Supporting training compliance and professional development across the team Promoting and maintaining a strong health and safety culture at all times

Essential Experience & Qualifications
- Previous experience as an Electrical Qualifying Supervisor
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent electrical qualification)
- 18th Edition BS7671
- Inspection & Testing Qualification (2391 or 2394/2395)
- ECS Health & Safety Qualification
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Strong understanding of:
- Building Regulations
- Electricity at Work Regulations
- BS7671 Requirements for Electrical Installations
- Relevant electrical codes of practice and guidance
Desirable Qualifications
- AM2
- Solar Photovoltaic Systems Qualification
- Electrical Energy Storage Systems Qualification
- JIB Gold Card
- Health & Safety Management Qualification
