We are seeking an ambitious and motivated quality professional who is ready to take the next step in their career and help shape the future of quality, compliance and continuous improvement across our organisation.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has built strong experience within adult social care and is now looking to move into their first Head of Department role.
About the Role
As Head of Quality, Compliance & Continuous Improvement, you will join our Senior Leadership Team and play a key role in driving quality and service excellence across the Trust.
Working closely with operational leaders, you will provide strategic oversight of:
- Quality assurance and improvement
- CQC compliance and inspection readiness
- Governance and organisational assurance
- Safeguarding oversight Audit and quality monitoring programmes
- Learning from incidents, complaints and investigations
- Continuous improvement and organisational learning
- Health and safety assurance
- Quality reporting to Executive and Board levels
This role is focused on helping services achieve excellence through strong assurance, support and continuous improvement.
Who We're Looking For
We are particularly interested in hearing from candidates with experience in one or more of the following settings:
- Experience of driving quality improvement across multiple services and locations.
- Experience of translating audit, incident, safeguarding and complaints data into service improvements.
- Experience of supporting operational managers through regulatory inspections and improvement plans.
You may currently be working as a:
- Quality Manager
- Regional Quality Manager
- Quality Improvement Manager
- Governance and Compliance Manager
- Operations Manager
- Registered Manager with multi-site responsibility
We are looking for someone who can demonstrate:
- Strong knowledge of adult social care regulation and quality standards
- Experience of preparing for and supporting inspections
- Experience of audits, action planning and quality improvement
- The ability to analyse information and identify trends and risks
- Excellent relationship-building and influencing skills
- A passion for improving outcomes for autistic people and people with learning disabilities
