As our clinic continues to grow, we are seeking either:
- An experienced MSK Physiotherapist, or
- An experienced Advanced Soft Tissue and Sports Massage Therapist.
These are self-employed associate opportunities for established practitioners who want to build a successful private caseload within a structured and supportive clinic.

Essential Experience
All applicants must have at least three years’ post-qualification professional practising experience in the discipline for which they are applying.
Applications from newly qualified or recently qualified practitioners will not be considered.
Applicants must be confident working autonomously and managing private patients within a professional clinical environment.
MSK Physiotherapist Requirements
Physiotherapy applicants must:
- Be fully qualified and currently registered with the HCPC.
- Have at least three years’ post-qualification clinical experience.
- Have substantial experience assessing and treating musculoskeletal conditions.
- Hold current professional indemnity and public liability insurance.
- Be trained and experienced in High-Velocity, Low-Amplitude techniques.
- Be confident performing manipulations and adjustments where clinically appropriate and within their professional scope of practice.
- Have strong manual therapy and exercise-prescription skills.
- Be confident creating structured, outcome-driven rehabilitation plans.
The ability to perform HVLA techniques safely and competently is a core clinical requirement for the physiotherapy position.
Sports Massage & Soft Tissue Therapist Requirements
Massage applicants must:
- Have at least three years’ post-qualification professional practising experience.
- Hold a recognised Level 5 Advanced Soft Tissue Therapy qualification, or a closely equivalent clinical soft-tissue qualification.
- Hold a recognised Level 4 or Level 5 Sports Massage qualification.
- Hold current professional indemnity and public liability insurance.
- Have strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology and musculoskeletal function.
- Be confident conducting consultations and identifying contraindications.
- Be experienced in treating muscular discomfort, restricted movement, postural strain and sports-related concerns.
- Understand professional boundaries and recognise when a client should be referred to a physiotherapist, chiropractor, GP or another healthcare professional.
Core Massage and Soft-Tissue Skills
Applicants should be confident and experienced in providing:
- Advanced soft-tissue therapy.
- Sports massage.
- Deep-tissue massage.
- Swedish massage.
- Myofascial release.
- Trigger-point therapy.
- Soft-tissue release techniques.
- Assisted stretching and mobility work.
- Treatments supporting muscular recovery, movement and relaxation.
Additional Specialist Therapies
Qualifications and professional experience in the following treatments are highly desirable:
- Pregnancy massage.
- Reflexology.
- Reiki.
Applicants must hold an appropriate recognised qualification and insurance for every specialist therapy they intend to provide.
Preference will be given to experienced practitioners who are professionally qualified across several of the treatments listed above.
Key Responsibilities
Depending on your professional discipline, your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting comprehensive consultations and relevant physical assessments.
- Understanding each patient’s symptoms, goals and treatment expectations.
- Creating structured, outcome-focused treatment or rehabilitation plans.
- Delivering safe, effective and personalised hands-on treatment.
- Performing manual therapy, mobilisation, manipulation or adjustments within your qualifications and scope of practice.
- Providing advanced soft-tissue, sports, deep-tissue and therapeutic massage treatments where qualified.
- Prescribing appropriate rehabilitation, mobility or exercise programmes.
- Monitoring patient progress and adapting treatment plans.
- Educating patients about recovery, movement, posture and injury prevention.
- Maintaining accurate, confidential and professional clinical records.
- Encouraging appropriate follow-up care and supporting strong patient retention.
- Working collaboratively with the clinic’s chiropractors, physiotherapists and other practitioners.
- Maintaining the clinic’s high standards of presentation, professionalism and patient experience.
You will manage your own caseload while benefiting from the clinic’s reception, booking, marketing and operational infrastructure.
Payment Structure
- Self-employed, commission-based associate position.
- Potential annual earnings of £50,000–£80,000 as working hours and caseload expand.
- Initial availability of approximately 12 hours per week across two days.
