We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Deputy Nursery Manager to join our team and help lead our nursery.
The role is room based and you will play a key role in the day-today running of the nursery, supporting the team to deliver the highest standards of care, education and safeguarding.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Nursery manager in the day-to-day operation of the nursery.
- Take responsibility for managing the nursery in the Manager's absence.
- Lead, motivate and support the staff team to deliver outstanding pratice.
- Ensure the nursery environment is safe, stimulating and maintained to a high standard.
- Build strong partnerships with parents and other professionals.
- Promote reflective practice and continuous improvement of the nursery.
Essential Requirements
- Level 3 (or above) qualification in Childcare and Education.
- At least three years experience within an Early Years setting.
- Experience leading or supervising a team.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- A postive, proactive attitude and a genuine love for working with children.
