Electrical Inspector (EICR) – Self-Employed/Subcontractor

Contract: Self-Employed / Subcontractor
Pay: Competitive rates – consistent workload provided
About the Role
M&S Electrical Services are looking for an experienced Electrical Inspector to join our growing team on a self-employed subcontractor basis.
This role is ideal for an electrician who enjoys inspection, testing and fault finding rather than installation work.
You'll be carrying out Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) across a range of domestic, commercial and industrial properties throughout Kent, Surrey and South East London.
Unlike many subcontracting roles, we provide a full diary of pre-booked work, so you can focus on carrying out inspections without the need to source your own jobs or deal with customer administration.

- Flexible self-employed subcontractor arrangement.
- No need to find your own work.
- Office-based scheduling and customer support.
- Prompt payment.
- Opportunity to undertake remedial works where required.

- Maintain a high standard of workmanship and customer service.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with current regulations.

- Minimum 3 years' experience carrying out EICRs.
- City & Guilds 2391-52 (or equivalent Inspection & Testing qualification).
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation.
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
- Strong knowledge of BS 7671.

- Experience carrying out remedial works following inspections.
- ECS Gold Card.
