Responsibilities

- Provide guidance and information to patients regarding their prescriptions, including usage instructions and potential side effects
- Maintain meticulous records of dispensed medications and patient interactions
- Support inventory management by checking stock levels and reordering supplies as needed
- Ensure the pharmacy environment remains clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety standards
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care and medication management
Requirements
- Prior experience as a pharmacy technician or relevant experience in medication dispensing is preferred
- Knowledge of medication administration procedures and patient care practices
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail to minimise errors
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare team members
- Ability to work accurately under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- A recognised qualification or certification in pharmacy assistance or related field is advantageous but not essential
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to healthcare regulations
