Pablo's Pawlour is looking for a passionate, experienced and friendly Level 3 Qualified Dog Groomer to join our growing team.
We're searching for someone who genuinely loves dogs, takes pride in their work and enjoys building lasting relationships with both our four-legged clients and their owners. About the Role
As a Dog Groomer at Pablo's Pawlour, you'll be responsible for delivering high-quality grooms while ensuring every dog has a safe, calm and enjoyable experience from start to finish.
You'll work closely with the rest of the team to provide exceptional customer service and help maintain the welcoming reputation we're proud to have built.
What We're Looking For
- Level 3 Dog Grooming Qualification (essential)
- Confident grooming all breeds, sizes and coat types to a high standard
- Excellent handling skills with nervous, elderly and young dogs
- Friendly, professional and confident when dealing with customers
- Able to work independently while also being a valued team player
- Uses initiative and can manage their workload efficiently
- Calm, patient and compassionate approach to animal welfare
- High attention to detail and pride in producing excellent grooms
- Reliable, punctual and organised
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced salon environment
Hand-stripping experience is highly desirable but not essential.
Your Responsibilities
- Groom a wide range of breeds to breed standard or owner preference.
- Carry out bathing, drying, clipping, scissoring, nail clipping and ear cleaning.
- Assess coat and skin condition and communicate any concerns with owners.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the salon.
- Deliver exceptional customer service before, during and after appointments.
- Work collaboratively with the team to ensure the smooth running of the salon.
- Ensure the safety and welfare of every dog in your care.
