We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic and dedicated Early Years Practitioner to join our friendly nursery team on a term-time only basis. You will help provide a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment where children aged 0–5 years can learn, play and thrive.
Main Duties
- Deliver high-quality care and learning in line with the EYFS.
- Act as a Key Person, building positive relationships with children and families.
- Plan and support engaging activities that promote children's development.
- Observe, assess and record children's progress.
- Help maintain a safe, clean and welcoming nursery environment.
- Work as part of the nursery team to meet Ofsted and safeguarding requirements.
- Undertake general nursery duties, including snack preparation, tidying and setting up activities.
Requirements
- Level 3 qualification in Early Years (or equivalent).
- Sound knowledge of the EYFS and safeguarding procedures.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Caring, patient, reliable and enthusiastic.
- Well organised, flexible and able to work on your own initiative.
- A genuine passion for supporting young children's learning and development.
