Job Overview
We are seeking two dedicated Hotel Night Porters to join our hospitality team. Responsibilities
- Greet and assist guests arriving or departing during night hours with professionalism and warmth
- Serving guests in the bar area until bar closure.
- Daily Cleaning and Basic Maintenance of public areas.
- Next day preparation and set up to ensure a smooth shift changeover.
- Manage guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently, ensuring all procedures are followed accurately
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries, requests, or concerns via phone or in person.
- Maintain hotel security by monitoring CCTV footage, conducting patrols of public areas, and controlling access points
- Handle emergency situations calmly and effectively, liaising with emergency services when necessary
- Keep detailed records of nightly activities, incidents, and guest interactions to ensure smooth operations
- Collaborate with the team to ensure a consistent and welcoming guest experience throughout the night
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality or hotel operations is preferred but not essential; a passion for guest service is key
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to remain alert, vigilant, and professional during overnight shifts.
- Knowledge of hotel security procedures and CCTV monitoring is advantageous
- Exceptional guest service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Ability to handle stressful situations with calmness and confidence
- Flexibility to work overnight shifts on weekends and holidays as needed

Pay: £12.71-£13.50 per hour
Expected hours: 32.0 – 45.0 per week
