Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Spa Manager to oversee daily operations during a maternity cover period. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership and organisational skills, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to enhance communication with diverse clientele. The successful applicant will be responsible for maintaining operational excellence, supervising staff, and supporting sales and retail activities to promote the spa’s growth.
Duties
- Lead and supervise the spa team, ensuring high levels of motivation, performance, and professionalism
- Oversee daily operations, including appointment scheduling, client consultations, and service delivery
- Manage staff rotas, organise training sessions, and support team development initiatives
- Drive sales through effective merchandising, upselling treatments, and retail products
- Maintain excellent phone etiquette whilst handling enquiries and bookings efficiently
- Monitor stock levels, organise stock replenishment, and ensure the presentation of retail areas is appealing
- Implement organisational procedures to optimise operational efficiency and customer satisfaction
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
- Handle administrative tasks such as reporting, budgeting support, and maintaining client records
- Foster a welcoming environment that promotes relaxation and positive client experiences
Experience
- Proven management experience within a spa, beauty salon, or retail environment with supervisory responsibilities
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage multiple priorities effectively
- Excellent communication skills in English; multilingual or bilingual abilities are advantageous
- Previous experience in sales management or retail management within a wellness or beauty setting
- Organisational skills with attention to detail in merchandising, stock control, and administrative duties
- Demonstrated ability to handle customer interactions professionally via phone and face-to-face
- Experience in team management including supervising staff schedules and conducting performance reviews
- Knowledge of health & safety standards relevant to spa or beauty environments is desirable

Pay: Up to £30,000.00 per year
