About Neubond
Neubond Ltd. is an Imperial College London spin-out developing wearable neuromuscular interfaces for stroke recovery. Our mission is to transform the conventional approach to rehabilitation through patient centred, more accessible, and continuous care based on deep neuroscience-driven technology. Our solution seamlessly integrates into patients’ daily lives, delivering therapy autonomously in the background while continuously monitoring and supporting recovery from hospital care to home environment. We are based in the UK and expanding internationally.
Having recently closed a £1.5m funding round, we are entering a rapid and exciting new phase of growth. Neubond is led by co-founders, Jumpei Kashiwakura and Patrick Sagastegui Alva. Driven by a shared belief that everyone deserves the opportunity to recover, Jumpei and Patrick are deeply passionate about shifting the global perceptions around stroke and disability recovery. As the business officially transitions into a VC-backed commercial operation, the founders are dedicating their focus to hitting critical clinical and technical milestones, and are looking for a highly capable operational leader to take ownership of the company's day-to-day execution.
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager who will help us to deliver our innovative stroke recovery solution to stroke patients and their therapists. Our Operations Manager will be highly organised and execution-driven and will lead the implementation of all operations across functional teams including Manufacturing, Product, Innovation/Design, Clinical, Customer service, Regulatory, HR, Sales/Marketing, and Finance and Legal.
This role is central to ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to a high standard in a fast-paced startup environment. The Operations Manager will report to the the founders and will have responsible oversight of several key milestones, including our ISO 13485 compliant QMS development, the development of our early UK business model, our marketing and communications strategy (including our publishing and conference attendance schedule, as well as some of our research and expansion planning).

- Maintain accurate project documentation, status tracking, and reporting to the founders.
- Central Communication
- Act as the central communication hub across internal teams.
- Establish clear ownership and accountability to promote a proactive working environment and teamwork.

About you
You are a highly organised and execution-driven operational leader who thrives in a fast-paced start-up environment. With 5+ years of experience in project management and operations within SMEs, you ideally bring a background in engineering or clinical evaluation to the table. You possess a proactive mentality and are not afraid to have difficult conversations, hold people accountable, and confidently enforce strict communication and project management protocols (such as Asana workflows) to ensure high-quality, on-time delivery.
As a natural communicator, you excel at acting as the central hub across diverse functional teams - including manufacturing, product innovation, clinical, and regulatory. You are skilled at bridging the communication gap between the technical team and the founders. While you are meticulous with small details and capable of persistently chasing deliverables, you also know how to harmonise team efforts without causing unnecessary friction.
Ultimately, you are ready to take complete ownership of day-to-day execution and you are looking for a role where you can relieve the founders from system micromanagement, allowing them to focus on high-level clinical milestones while you build and maintain the company's internal operational engine.
Essential
- 5+ years of experience in project management, operations in SME and start-up companies.
- Excellent attention to detail with a continuous focus on quality improvement.
- Excellent communication skills (internal and external stakeholders).
- A strong willingness to learn.
- Proven ability to execute and close projects effectively.
Desirable
- You have worked in engineering and/or clinical evaluation.
- Familiarity with regulatory processes (e.g., ISO 13485, MHRA).
- Multinational experience.
