We are seeking an energetic and motivated Part-time Sales Assistant to join our dynamic team in our family run business!
In this role, you will be the friendly face that welcomes customers, provides exceptional service, and helps create an engaging shopping experience. Your enthusiasm and proactive approach will drive sales, foster customer loyalty, and contribute to the vibrant atmosphere of our store.
Candidates must be responsible, Reliable and be confident to work well within a team as well as independently with a can do attitude towards all jobs related to the business.
Candidates must be able to work Evenings and weekends ,National minimum wage paid depending on age . Opportunity for overtime and potential full-time hours for the right candidate.

Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs
- Provide detailed product information and answer customer inquiries with clarity and confidence
- Support merchandising efforts by organizing displays and ensuring shelves are well-stocked and visually appealing
- Engage in upselling techniques to promote additional products and enhance sales performance
- Maintain cleanliness of the store.
- Operate tills and other devices at the checkout relates to the business.
- Opening or closing the store.
- Assist with inventory management, including stock counts and organizing back-stock for efficient access
- Demonstrate strong organizational skills to prioritize tasks effectively during busy periods
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations and a positive shopping environmentSkills
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey product information clearly
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for merchandising and stock management
- Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and handling cash or digital payments
- Effective time management to balance multiple responsibilities efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Ability to upsell products naturally by understanding customer needs and offering suitable options
