Senior Analyst Core Competencies
- Efficient literature searching across key databases and grey literature sources to identify evidence relevant to the research question
- Critical appraisal and accurate interpretation of different study designs (e.g., clinical trials, prospective studies, and retrospective studies) and data types (e.g., clinical, health-related quality of life [HRQoL], resource use, and cost data) to identify the most relevant and robust evidence
- Development of high-quality value communication deliverables, including literature reviews/landscaping reviews, global value dossiers (GVDs), payer value decks, objection handlers, publications (abstracts, posters, manuscripts), Health Technology Assessment (HTA) briefing books and submissions, and workshop/conference presentation materials
- Effective communication of findings internally to project teams and externally to clients and other stakeholders
- Productive collaboration within project teams and the wider Value Communications team, contributing to shared objectives and overall team success
Essential Skills and Behaviours
- PhD or MSc/MRes in a relevant field
- Excellent command of the English language and outstanding skills in writing and communication
- Ability to learn rapidly and apply knowledge in previously unfamiliar therapy areas
- Strategic, critical thinking in addition to strong analytical skills
- Strong time and project management skills to efficiently work on multiple parallel projects
- Experience conducting scientific literature reviews
- Experience presenting work/findings
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook)
- Exceptional attention to detail
- A high degree of self-motivation
