About STORIES Parfums®
STORIES Parfums® is an independent luxury niche fragrance house based in Northern Ireland, creating fine fragrance Eau de Parfum, botanical bodycare and home fragrance that connect people to memory, emotion and personal story.
As we enter our next stage of growth, we are looking for an experienced and commercially minded Ecommerce, Growth & Retention Manager to take ownership of our direct-to-consumer ecommerce performance.
The Role
This is a hands-on commercial role with responsibility for growing online revenue across acquisition, conversion and retention.
You will own the ecommerce growth plan, manage performance against target and use customer behaviour, ecommerce data and testing to identify and deliver growth opportunities.
Working directly with the Founder & CEO, internal team and specialist agency partners, you will be responsible for both strategy and execution.
Key ResponsibilitiesEcommerce Growth & Conversion
- Own ecommerce performance against agreed revenue targets
- Monitor and improve conversion rate and average order value
- Review the online customer journey and identify opportunities to improve performance
- Run structured testing across offers, journeys and trading activity
- Own the ecommerce trading and promotional calendar
- Forecast weekly and monthly performance and recommend action where results differ from plan
Growth & Customer Acquisition
- Set paid media strategy, budgets and performance expectations across Meta, Google and other relevant channels
- Manage our paid media agency and hold it accountable for commercial performance
- Own customer acquisition cost and assess performance against lifetime value and contribution margin
- Own organic search growth and SEO performance
- Develop Pinterest as a commercial discovery and acquisition channel
- Identify opportunities across partnerships, co-marketing and other relevant acquisition channels
CRM, Email & Retention
- Own Klaviyo across lifecycle strategy, campaigns, flows and segmentation
- Grow repeat purchase, purchase frequency, retention revenue and customer lifetime value
- Develop subscription, loyalty and refill as commercial retention channels
- Build reactivation, cross-sell and replenishment opportunities
- Use customer behaviour and purchase data to improve retention performance
Ecommerce UX & Agency Management
- Use ecommerce UX and customer behaviour data to identify friction in the customer journey
- Prioritise improvements that support conversion and revenue growth
- Brief external UX or development support where required
- Set clear briefs, priorities and performance expectations for external partners
Reporting & Commercial Performance
Track and report on the key metrics driving ecommerce growth, including:
- Online revenue
- Conversion rate
- Average order value
- Customer acquisition cost
- Customer lifetime value
- Repeat purchase rate
- Retention and Klaviyo revenue
- Contribution margin
- Paid and organic acquisition performance
- New versus returning customer performance
- Performance against forecast
About You
You may currently be an Ecommerce Manager, Growth Manager, Ecommerce & Digital Manager, CRM & Retention Manager or working in a similar commercially focused digital role.
You should have:
- Proven ecommerce or DTC experience with responsibility for revenue, growth or retention
- Hands-on Klaviyo experience across campaigns, flows and segmentation
- Strong Shopify capability
- Strong understanding of ecommerce conversion and UX
- Working knowledge of paid acquisition across Meta and Google
- Experience managing external agencies against commercial objectives
- Good knowledge of SEO and organic search
- Confidence working with CAC, LTV, conversion, contribution margin and ecommerce performance data
- Strong analytical and forecasting capability
- A hands-on approach and willingness to take ownership
Experience growing subscription and loyalty programmes is desirable, as is experience within beauty, fragrance, luxury or premium consumer goods.
