Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Gym Front of House to be the welcoming face of our fitness centre. This role involves providing exceptional guest services, managing daily operations at the reception, and ensuring a positive experience for all members and visitors. The ideal candidate will possess strong management skills, a background in hospitality, and a passion for delivering outstanding guest care. Duties
- Greet members and visitors with a warm and professional attitude, creating a welcoming environment
- Manage member check-ins and check-outs efficiently using the centre’s booking system
- Handle enquiries both in person and via phone or email, providing accurate information about classes, memberships, and facilities
- Assist with membership sign-ups, renewals, and cancellations, ensuring all records are up-to-date
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the reception area to uphold high standards of presentation and laundry.
- Support management with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing bookings for classes or personal training sessions
- Address guest concerns promptly and professionally, escalating issues when necessary
- Promote centre programmes, memberships, and special events to maximise engagement
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations and excellent guest experiences
- Cafe sales, coffee and protein making.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in management or hospitality roles, ideally within a fitness or leisure environment
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour
- Excellent organisational abilities with attention to detail
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficiency in using booking systems or management software is desirable
- A proactive attitude with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Previous experience in guest services or front desk operations is advantageous
