Venables Oak is one of Shropshire’s leading timber merchants and bespoke joinery manufacturers. We are looking for an experienced Wood Machinist to join our skilled and dedicated team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Setting up and operating a range of woodworking machinery, including spindle moulders, four-sided planers and bandsaws.
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications accurately.
- Carrying out routine machine maintenance.
- Ensuring the workshop remains clean, tidy and well organised.
- Working independently and using initiative, while also contributing to a busy, collaborative team.
- Adhering to all health and safety procedures at all times.
Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a thriving team.
Hours - Monday to Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm
Own transport essential due to rural location.
