Job Title: Playground Installer (Full-Time)
Location: Hedge End,
Salary: Day rate (depending on experience), with overtime paid after 5pm
Hours: Full-Time, Monday to Friday
About the Role:
We are looking for a dedicated and reliable Playground Installer to join our team! Based in Hedge End, you’ll be responsible for installing new playgrounds and renewing existing ones. This is a physically active role that requires working outdoors in all weather conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install new playground equipment to meet safety standards.
- Follow safety procedures and adhere to guidelines.
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects on time.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications to determine installation requirements.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently during installation processes.
- Maintain a clean and organised worksite, ensuring all safety protocols are followed at all times.
- Troubleshoot installation issues on-site and implement effective solutions promptly.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in playground installation or similar outdoor construction work is preferred.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with the use of hand tools and power tools essential for installation tasks
- Physically fit, as the role involves manual labor and working outdoors.
