We are seeking a motivated and technically capable Coating Supervisor to support the delivery of coating activities within the MEH Alliance on Hinkley Point C.
Weekly Working Hours & OT. 10 on 4 off. 06:15 – 17:30. 40 min break/ O/T on Sat first 4hrs @1.4 & [email protected], Sun OT1. Possible opportunity to work on a non-working day at OT rates. Overtime will not come into effect until your first full working week. Pay rate £33.23ph basic.
Key Accountabilities:
- Directing industrial painters and coating applicators on major nuclear construction structures.
- Enforcing strict site safety rules, toolbox talks, and RAMS (Risk Assessments and Method Statements)
- Inspecting surface preparation, climatic conditions, and dry film thickness (DFT) against technical specifications.
- Managing daily outputs, shift handovers, and coordination with other trade superintendents
Key Requirements:
- CCNSG safety passport
- ICATS, Train the Painter, or ICORR/NACE coating inspection grades
- CSCS Supervisor card
- Proven supervisory background in heavy industrial, marine, or energy infrastructure environments
