Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide friendly, efficient service at the counter and tables
- Prepare and serve a variety of food and beverages, including coffee, tea, snacks, and light meals
- Potwashing
- Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in all food preparation areas
- Manage cash register operations with accuracy using basic math skills for transactions
- Keep the café clean and organized by restocking supplies, cleaning tables, and ensuring a tidy workspace
- Assist with opening or closing duties, including setting up or packing down equipment
- Support team members with serving orders and managing customer inquiries to ensure a seamless experience
Experience
- Previous barista experience is highly desirable but not essential; enthusiasm to learn is key
- Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures is preferred
- Experience in serving customers in a fast-paced environment is advantageous
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently with excellent time management skills
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude are essential for success in this role

Pay: £12.71-£13.50 per hour
