Experienced Barista — Your Baristas £14.85 per hour | Zero Hours Contract | Birkenhead, Wirral
Your Baristas is a specialist coffee events company, delivering premium barista-led experiences for brand activations, exhibitions, corporate events and press days across the UK. We work with some brilliant clients, from global brands to independent agencies, and we take real pride in the quality of our coffee, the look of our setups, and the service we deliver on every job.
We're looking for an experienced, passionate and professional barista to join our team on a zero hours basis. This is a role for someone who truly loves coffee, takes pride in their craft, and understands that on-site at an event, they are the face of both Your Baristas and our client's brand.

What the role involves
Based at our warehouse in Birkenhead, you'll be travelling across the UK to deliver exceptional coffee experiences at events of all shapes and sizes, from intimate press days and brand activations to large-scale exhibitions and corporate conferences.
On site, you'll be responsible for setting up and operating our coffee equipment, dialling in espresso to the highest standard, producing consistently excellent latte art, and delivering a warm, professional service to every guest. You'll work closely with our wider team to ensure the setup looks and runs exactly as it should, and you'll play a key role in representing our brand on the day.
Between events, you'll help keep equipment clean, maintained and event-ready at our Birkenhead warehouse.
What we need from you
✓ Minimum 2 years experience as a barista, ideally within speciality coffee
✓ Confident dialling in espresso on commercial machines and maintaining consistency throughout service
✓ Strong latte art skills, a genuine point of pride, not an afterthought
✓ Experience handling, cleaning and operating commercial espresso machines
✓ Comfortable with manual handling of equipment including setup and breakdown
✓ Willing and able to travel regularly across the UK with overnight stays as required
✓ Professional appearance at all times, as you will be representing our clients as well as our brand
✓ Exceptional customer service skills, warm, engaging and attentive
✓ Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
✓ Flexible availability including weekends, early mornings and late evenings
✓ Access to a reliable mobile phone and email
Desirable but not essential
✓ Experience working at events, exhibitions or brand activations
✓ Knowledge of filter brewing methods
✓ SCA or equivalent barista qualification
✓ Experience working with different roasters and adjusting for varying coffee profiles
