This job will be based at our flagship store, Chester Gates. We are a retail company specialising in the resale of customer returns, excess stock and end-of-line consumer goods. We process stock spanning numerous categories, such as home & garden, electricals, toys & baby, personal care, sporting, automotive and more.
We're a young, growing company and we need more great people to join us on this exciting journey as we continue to expand.
About the job:
You will be responsible for all operations within the store, driving sales forwards and maximising the customer experience. This will involve managing staffing levels, maintaining cleanliness and tidiness, ordering stock, leading a team of retail assistants, participating in management meetings, creating appealing product displays, composing reports, and, importantly, leading by example and being a hands-on manager.
About you:
You are honest, trustworthy, and have a professional manner. You are punctual, motivated and possess extensive, demonstrable leadership experience. You have excellent English language skills and are physically able to lift and carry goods. Preferably, you can demonstrate strong experience within the retail sector and you are looking forward to a challenge. As the manager of our flagship store, we are seeking an exceptional individual to take this store to the next level.
