We are delighted to advertise an exciting opportunity to take on an 8a role or a band 7 preceptorship within Mental Health Services for Older People (MHSOP) Psychology in Leicester. This is a permanent role within our community service and is an exciting role for developing Psychology input to the Melton and Rutland Neighbourhood Team.
The successful applicant will join the existing MHSOP Community Psychology team, offering input to the 8 Neighbourhood Teams across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland, alongside completing Neuropsychological assessments for the Memory and Young Onset Dementia Assessment Service (YODAS).
The MHSOP Community Psychology Team works alongside the MHSOP Inpatient Psychology Team with regular opportunities for peer support, CPD, and further relevant training.
MHSOP Psychology has strong links with the wider LPT Psychology and Psychological Therapies community, providing opportunity for shared learning, support, and development.
MHSOP Psychology has excellent links with the Leicester Doctoral Training Course, with opportunities for supervising trainees, providing teaching, contributing to reflective practice, and supervising service evaluation and research projects
