Do you love working with people? Are you passionate about delivering excellent customer service in a fun, creative environment?
We're looking for a friendly, enthusiastic and reliable Pottery Café Assistant to join our busy Paint Your Own Pottery studio. Every day is different – from helping families create treasured keepsakes to serving freshly made coffees and cakes, operating our pottery kiln and making every customer feel welcome.

What You'll Be Doing
As a Pottery Café Assistant, you'll be involved in all aspects of running the studio, including:
- Welcoming customers and creating a warm, friendly atmosphere.
- Helping customers choose and paint pottery, offering tips and techniques to achieve the best results.
- Explaining the pottery painting process from start to finish.
- Preparing and serving quality hot and cold drinks, including barista-style coffees, full training provided.
- Serving light food, cakes and refreshments.
- Operating the till and processing payments.
- Safely loading and unloading the pottery kiln (full training provided).
- Preparing finished pottery for collection.
- Keeping the studio clean, organised and well stocked.
- Supporting birthday parties, workshops and special events.

Experience
Previous experience in any of the following would be an advantage, but isn't essential as full training will be provided:
- Hospitality
- Café or coffee shop
- Experience working with children
- Customer service
- Retail
- Arts, crafts or pottery
- Confident interacting with children and families
