We’re a small, independent craft beer bar in the heart of Caerphilly, known for our warm atmosphere and strong sense of community.
We’re looking for a sociable, enthusiastic and reliable bar person to join our small team.
About You:
- Must be 18 or over
- Previous bar or customer service experience is preferred
- Confident, chatty and reliable
- Enthusiastic and eager to learn
- Passionate about craft beer or keen to learn
- Sociable and enjoys building relationships with customers
- Able to stay calm during busy periods
- Confident to work alone
- Experience with a commercial coffee machine or barista skills (preferred but not essential)
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Serving our amazing customers and making them feel at home
- Replenishing taps and fridges, and managing stock
- Operating the till and handling payments
- Keeping the bar spotless throughout the shift
- Taking food orders
- Carrying out cleaning duties after closing
Shift Pattern:
Week 1:
Wednesday: 3:30pm–10:30/11:30pm
Sunday: 5:00pm–10:30pm
Week 2:
Wednesday: 3:30pm–10:30/11:30pm
Friday: 3:30pm–11:30pm
Sunday: 5:00pm - 10:30pm
Additional shifts occasionally available.
Full training will be provided, with ongoing support to help you grow in the role.
