Professional Housekeeper for UHNW Private Family – Full-Time, Live-Out
We are seeking an exceptionally experienced and highly skilled Professional Housekeeper to join a fully staffed UHNW private household in London.
The successful candidate must have substantial experience working directly for UHNW private families and maintaining luxury private residences to the highest standards. Five-star hotel experience alone will not be sufficient.
This position would suit a discreet, intelligent and hardworking professional with exceptional cleaning skills, an excellent eye for detail and a genuine understanding of the standards, privacy and flexibility required within a UHNW private household.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out detailed daily cleaning throughout the residence
- Maintain bedrooms, bathrooms, reception rooms and all living areas to an immaculate standard
- Perform deep cleaning and scheduled periodic cleaning tasks
- Care correctly for fine furniture, delicate surfaces, artwork and luxury finishes
- Make beds and prepare bedrooms to an exceptional presentation standard
- Clean and organise wardrobes, cupboards and storage areas
- Assist with laundry, ironing and garment care when required
- Replenish household supplies and report low stock
- Identify and promptly report maintenance issues, damage or breakages
- Follow household procedures, cleaning schedules and product guidelines
- Work cooperatively with other housekeepers and members of the household team
- Maintain complete discretion and confidentiality at all times
Essential Candidate Requirements
- Significant professional housekeeping experience within a UHNW private family residence
- A strong understanding of the standards and expectations of a fully staffed private household
- Exceptional cleaning skills and extensive knowledge of professional cleaning methods
- Excellent knowledge of cleaning products and their correct use on delicate materials, luxury finishes and specialist surfaces
- Outstanding attention to detail and consistently high standards
- Smart, intelligent, organised and efficient
- Hardworking, reliable, punctual and committed
- Calm, respectful and professional
- Able to follow instructions precisely while also using initiative
- Comfortable working as part of a professional household team
- Physically able to carry out detailed housekeeping duties within a large residence
- Excellent, verifiable private household references
- Legal right to work in the United Kingdom
Please note: candidates whose experience is primarily within hotels, commercial properties or standard domestic cleaning will not be considered unless they also have substantial UHNW private household experience.
