Background:
We are looking for an Evaluation Officer to join our small evaluation unit within the Student Success Team at City St George's. Working alongside a fellow Evaluation Officer, and with oversight from the Senior Evaluation Officer, you will support delivery of targets in our Access and Participation Plan and play an active role in implementing our new Access and Participation Evaluation Strategy.
Responsibilities:
In this role, you will help us understand "What Works" in supporting students to succeed. You will do this by collating and analysing data on Access and Participation initiatives and broader student success interventions at the University, and translating your findings into practical insights for colleagues. You will also be responsible for sharing best practice and knowledge about evaluation more widely across the university by delivering training and promoting the work of the evaluation team.
Person Specification:
The successful candidate will have strong planning and organisational skills, with excellent written and verbal communication and the ability to work well as part of a team. They will bring knowledge of evaluation methodologies and have experience collecting and analysing data, with confidence to advise colleagues on best practice in these areas. They will also be comfortable building effective stakeholder relationships across the university to support delivery of our Access and Participation Plan commitments.
