Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Gas Engineer/Plumber to join our responsive dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Install, inspect, repair, and maintain gas appliances, pipelines, and plumbing systems in accordance with safety standards and regulations
- Diagnose issues with gas or water systems using mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills
- Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and carpentry techniques to complete installations and repairs effectively
- Conduct safety checks and ensure compliance with local codes and industry standards
- Perform heavy lifting tasks safely when handling equipment or materials during installation or repairs
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, parts used, and safety inspections
- Assist in assembly of plumbing fixtures or gas components as needed for new installations or upgrades
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Gas Engineer or Plumber with a strong mechanical background
- Knowledge of welding techniques, hand tools, power tools, and carpentry skills
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in various working environments
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and troubleshooting tasks
- Valid commercial driving license preferred for transportation between sites
- Familiarity with plumbing systems, gas regulations, and safety protocols
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in diagnosing issues
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced settings
