Overview
Crossmeads are delight to offer the chance to join our busy Lettings & Property Management team. The role will consist of supporting the day-to-day operations of the lettings and property management team ensuring smooth administration of tenancy processes, provide exceptional customer service to landlords and tenants, and assist with compliance and office administration.
Key Responsibilities
Lettings Administration
- Update property listings
- Arrange and manage property viewings, gather feedback.
- Carry out referencing checks and ensure all required documentation is completed accurately.
- Coordinate move-in and move-out procedures, including key handovers and inventory appointments.
- Maintain accurate applicant and landlord records within the lettings software.
- Prepare Tenancy agreements
- Negotiate rent reviews
Property Management Support
- Help manage compliance requirements such as gas safety certificates, EPCs, EICRs, and smoke alarm checks.
- Maintain property files and ensure all compliance documents are up to date.
Customer Service & Communication
- Act as a first point of contact for tenants, landlords, and contractors.
- Handle queries professionally via phone, email, and in person.
- Provide regular updates to landlords regarding lettings progress and property issues.
- Support the lettings team in delivering a high-standard, customer-focused service.
General Administrative Support
- Support marketing efforts by updating online property adverts and social media content when required.
Skills & Experience Required
- Previous experience in lettings/property management administration (preferred but not essential).
- Strong organisational and time-management skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Confident communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Good IT skills; familiarity with property management software is an advantage but not essential as training will be offered
- Professional, proactive, and customer-focused attitude.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Own car and full UK driving licence
Working Conditions
- Full-time – Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm, some Saturdays required 10am to 4.30pm with a day of in lieu.
- Office-based with some travel required for viewings
