We are looking for a Sales & Accounts Administrator to join our team in Swindon. This is a part-time, fixed-term role (6 months) with a competitive salary and a fantastic benefits package.
What is the role all about?
As our Sales & Accounts Administrator, you’ll be assisting with the effective operation of the sales and admin team, providing a high-level administrative service.
What you will be doing:
As our Sales & Accounts Administrator, you will:
- Support the sales process by accurately processing customer orders, payments and receipts.
- Ensure delivery documentation is matched and reconciled to customer invoices in a timely manner.
- Produce accurate customer and supplier invoices, contributing to effective account administration.
- Maintain and update business systems, ensuring customer and operational data is recorded accurately.
- Collaborate with internal sales, external sales and credit control teams to provide excellent customer service.
- Act as a first point of contact for customer enquiries via telephone and email, resolving issues promptly and professionally.
- Provide comprehensive administrative support across sales, accounts and office operations.
- Contribute to the smooth running of a busy quarrying business through flexible support of day-to-day administrative activities.
What we are looking for:
Essential:
- Previous administration experience, ideally within a sales, accounts or customer service environment.
- Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- A high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
Desirable:
- Experience in invoice processing and financial administration.
- A sound understanding of financial procedures and numerical data.
