Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating various machinery and equipment to produce high-quality products efficiently and safely. Your mechanical aptitude, hands-on skills, and ability to follow detailed instructions will be essential in maintaining smooth production workflows. Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and monitor fabrication machinery such as milling machines, welding stations, and other production equipment.
- Use hand tools and tooling to assemble components accurately according to specifications.
- Interpret technical drawings and CAD (Computer-Aided Design) files created in SolidWorks or similar software to guide fabrication and assembly processes.
- Handle materials safely within the warehouse environment, including loading, unloading, and organizing stock.
- Perform routine inspections of machinery and tools to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance.
- Maintain detailed records of production activities, including shift logs, quality checks, and maintenance reports.
- Assist with materials handling tasks, ensuring proper storage and movement of raw materials and finished products.
Requirements
- Proven experience with fabrication techniques such as welding, milling, or assembly processes.
- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) used for automation and machine control.
- Knowledge of CAD software, particularly SolidWorks or similar programs for designing or interpreting technical drawings.
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues quickly.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, measuring devices, and basic math skills for precise fabrication work.
- Warehouse experience including materials handling, inventory management, and safety protocols.
- Ability to read technical drawings and interpret specifications accurately.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality assurance in production tasks.
