Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated Exhibition Painter to bring professional finishes to a variety of displays.
Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces thoroughly by cleaning, sanding, and priming to ensure optimal paint adhesion.
- Apply paint, stains, and finishes with precision using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment to achieve desired visual effects.
- Follow detailed project plans and specifications to ensure accurate color matching and design consistency.
- Collaborate with project managers to understand specific painting requirements and deadlines.
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of waste responsibly throughout each project.
- Conduct quality checks on completed work to ensure smooth finishes and adherence to safety standards.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients about project progress, challenges, or adjustments needed.
- Working hours will be varied and will include out of hours and weekend working.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction painting or decorative finishing, preferably within exhibition or display environments.
- Strong knowledge of painting techniques, surface preparation, and safety procedures.
- Valid driving license.
- Excellent communication skills in English to understand instructions clearly and collaborate effectively.
- Physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting materials, and working in various environmental conditions.
- A proactive attitude with attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
