Role: Maintenance Electrician
Location: Deeside, CH5
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum
Working Hours: Days, Monday - Friday, 37.5 hours

The Opportunity:
Due to continued growth, Reacta Healthcare are looking to recruit a Maintenance Electrician.
As part of the engineering team, the Maintenance Electrician is responsible for providing electrical support for manufacturing equipment and facility infrastructure at Reacta Healthcare.
Key Accountabilities
- Carry out electrical installation, maintenance, repair, and fault-finding on site equipment, machinery, and building services.

Perform planned preventive maintenance on electrical systems, including distribution boards, lighting, power supplies, and emergency systems.

Diagnose and resolve electrical faults quickly to minimise operational disruption.

Support the installation and commissioning of new plant, machinery, and facility upgrades.

Work collaboratively cross functionally to deliver maintenance schedules and project work.

Liaise with external contractors and specialists when required for specialist tasks.

Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with health & safety regulations, company policies, and current electrical standards (BS 7671 / 18th Edition).

Identify opportunities for energy efficiency and continuous improvement in electrical systems.
Essential Skills, Qualifications and Experience
- Fully qualified Electrician with a recognised apprenticeship or equivalent (e.g., NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation).

Current 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671) qualification.

Experience in inspection and testing (City & Guilds 2391 or equivalent is highly desirable).

Proven experience as a Site Electrician, Maintenance Electrician, or Industrial Electrician in a commercial, manufacturing, or industrial environment.

Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills across single and three-phase systems.

Good working knowledge of electrical safety legislation (Electricity at Work Regulations, etc.).

Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical manuals.

Practical, proactive, and safety-conscious approach with excellent attention to detail.
Desirable Skills and Experience
- Experience with industrial automation, PLCs, or control systems.

Previous work in a fast-paced environment (production, manufacturing etc)

Basic mechanical aptitude.

Full UK driving licence.
