Join our team as a Commercial Contract Cleaner in Forfar where your dedication to cleanliness and attention to detail will help create safe, hygienic, and welcoming environments for the residents development.
6 hours per week with flexible working days 3 hours Monday, Thursday or 2 hours each day Monday, Wednesday, Friday
In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness across various communal areas, lounge, corridors, stairs, lifts, kitchen, laundry room, WC, entrance areas ensuring these areas are routinely organised. Your proactive approach and commitment to quality will contribute to the overall success of our cleaning operations, providing a positive experience for clients and visitors alike.
Duties
- Perform comprehensive cleaning tasks in commercial settings, including , mopping, dusting & vacuuming
- Use cleaning equipment and supplies to ensure surfaces are sanitized and maintained to high standards
- Follow established cleaning schedules and procedures to cover all designated areas efficiently
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap dispensers, and other consumables as needed
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards immediately to manager for prompt resolution
- Adhere to health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment for yourself, resident and visitors.
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles with a strong understanding of COSHH, cleaning techniques and safety protocols
- Ability to operate cleaning machinery such as floor buffers, carpet cleaners, and pressure washers effectively
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on thoroughness and quality control
- Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Good communication skills for coordinating with team members and reporting issues clearly
- Knowledge of health standards and safety regulations relevant to commercial cleaning environments
Pay: £14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 6.0 per week
