We have a full-time role available for a Paraplanner. We will consider part time with a minimum of 4-days.
We are a Chartered Financial Planning firm dedicated to providing comprehensive financial planning to our clients. We pride ourselves on giving clients the highest level of service in a professional manner.
We are looking for someone that will be able to work as part of a team in a busy office, with the ability to manage their own workload within reasonable timescales. Having a good working knowledge of IT including Outlook, Excel and Word is necessary. Previous experience of Intelligent Office, FE Analytics and CashCalc is beneficial.
Financial Services knowledge and experience is with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Paraplanner role. Diploma qualified as a minimum, with support offered if you wish to progress beyond this. Please do not apply for this position if you do not meet this criteria.
Paraplanner role will allow hybrid working with a maximum of 2 days working from home when full time, following completion of probation period. Please consider our location carefully and do not apply if you are unable to commit to commuting to Lanark – a commute of 30 mins or less would be deemed to be the most suitable.
Duties will include:
- Checking client reviews and meeting packs for adviser
- Liaising with product providers to gather information
- Preparing relevant research and analysis for client recommendations
- Preparing client correspondence including reports and recommendations
- Ensuring all compliance requirements are met
- Ensuring client instruction are actioned
- Liaising with clients via telephone and email
- Managing tasks and keeping client files fully up to date
