Good Day Bakery is looking for a Baker to join us on a three month contract during the busy Winter season!
Professional pastry experience is preferred but a passion for baking is a must. We are looking for team players and hard workers who love to laugh as well as maintain the highest standards of consistency in their work.

The right candidate will:
- Work well in a team, as well as individually.
- Be available to work in Bath from beginning of October to the beginning of January.
- Be available to work Monday-Friday and rotating Saturdays (with a day off in the week when you work Saturdays), with 7am or 8am starts.
- Know a bit about Good Day and our bakes (check out our instagram @gooddaycafe for an idea).
- Have keen attention to detail and understand the importance of keeping standards high.
- Have experience in a pastry kitchen or high volume food preparation environment.
- Be able to do heavy lifting (think lifting sacks of flour, heavy 20L mixing bowls, and cutting big trays of brownies) up and down set of stairs.
The Role:
- This period of work covers October, November, and December and will include helping bake for the the Christmas Market and the Christmas rush.
- Baking large volumes of brownies, blondies, brookies, doughs and seasonal specials with efficiency and eye for detail.
- Cutting brownies and blondies to go to counter.
- Packing up bakes to be sent out with our events team.
- Keeping the bakery clean and tidy, completing all cleaning to the highest standards.
