Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating CNC machinery, ensuring precision and quality in the fabrication of components. This role requires a understanding of CAD software, Fanuc controllers, and the ability to work with various materials. The CNC Operator will play a crucial role in the manufacturing process, contributing to the assembly parts while adhering to safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Operate CNC lathes to produce high-quality components.
- Set up and adjust CNC machines according to specifications and production requirements.
- Utilise hand tools for assembly and finishing tasks as needed.
- Perform quality checks on finished products using basic maths skills to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Handle materials safely and efficiently throughout the production process.
- Collaborate with team members to improve production processes and reduce waste.
Experience
- Familiarity with Fanuc controllers and their application in CNC operations is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of materials handling techniques within a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to use hand tools effectively for assembly tasks is required.
