Job Summary:
We are looking for a Coffin Maker, with wood working experience, but full training will be given on the job for this specific product. The successful candidate must be willing to learn and develop their skills in a supportive and professional environment. Attention to detail is paramount and the candidate must be able to work diligently from Production Tickets.
Responsibilities:
* Construct and assemble coffins to high standards, using various materials and machinery.
* Work to ensure time constraints are met in order to make timely delivery of coffins to funeral services
* Maintain a clean and organized workshop environment, adhering to health and safety guidelines
* Collaborate with colleagues to achieve company goals and objectives
Requirements:
* Wood working experience and a willingness to learn and develop new skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with attention to detail and quality
* Good communication and interpersonal skills
* Physical ability to lift and move heavy materials and coffins
Desired Qualifications:
* Experience with power tools
* Knowledge of funeral industry practices and procedures
Shift Patterns:
* 6.00 am – 14.00 pm
* 14.00 pm – 22.00 pm
These are set hours and not a rotational shift pattern
