We are looking for an experienced and motivated Fabricator/Welder to join our production team assembling high-quality steel tipper bodies for commercial vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
- Fabricate and assemble steel tipper body components from engineering drawings.
- MIG weld mild steel to a high standard.
- Assemble complete tipper bodies and associated components.
- Carry out fitting, drilling, grinding and finishing work.
- Ensure all work meets quality and safety standards.
- Work effectively as part of a busy production team.
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised work area.
About You
The successful candidate will have:
- Previous experience as a Fabricator/Welder within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong MIG welding and fabrication skills.
- The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Experience assembling fabricated steel structures.
- Excellent attention to detail and pride in producing quality workmanship.
- A positive attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good understanding of health and safety practices.
Desirable
- Experience within the commercial vehicle, trailer, body building or heavy engineering industry. (not essential)
- Experience assembling tipper bodies or similar vehicle bodywork. (not essential)
- Overhead crane and forklift experience (training can be provided if required).
Pay: From £15.50 per hour
