Hours of work: Full-time - 35 hours per week
Tenure: Fixed term for 1 year
Working within IT Services and closely aligned to the Faculty of Health and Life Sciences (HLS), you will provide high-quality technical support across a diverse and specialist environment.
The role will support a wide range of systems, including desktop computing, laboratory and clinical technologies, and research platforms.
The role will involve regular engagement with academic staff, researchers, professional services colleagues, and external suppliers, and will play an important part in ensuring that systems used for research and clinical activity remain operational, secure, and fit for purpose.
We are seeking an enthusiastic, flexible, and driven individual who is committed to delivering excellent support and continuously developing their skills. While predominately based on the main City Centre campus, the role requires a willingness to travel between University sites as part of day-to-day responsibilities.
You will report into the IT Desktop Support Manager within IT Services but, on a day-to-day basis, will be accountable to the Head of Digital Research Infrastructure within HLS.
