We are looking for front of house catering assistants to join our friendly team to work within a fast-paced busy environment ensuring a high standard of customer service and food service is efficient at all times.
Daytime straight shifts generally from 8.30/9.30am - 4.30pm in our off-peak season with later finish times in our peak season of 5.30/6.30pm, on some occasions there may be a need to work later for ad-hoc events.
Primarily we are looking for someone to join our team on a contract of 18 hours per week, 3 days out of 7, with the option to work extra days during peak times and for holiday cover. In this role you will be required to work weekends, bank holidays and school holidays as this is our peak season. We are open every day, with the exception of Christmas Day when the site is closed
Duties include, but not limited to:
· Opening and closing of the café
· Serving customers to a high standard
· Till operation and cash handling
· Preparing barista-style drinks and serving food
· Clearing tables and washing up
Responsibilities:
Be compliant in food handling & hygiene standards, food allergens and health & safety regulations. Maintain strict food safety/hygiene standards, adhere to all company policy and procedures. Have a good understanding of stock control and wastage
Applicants need to be over the age of 18years of age due to some lone working at times throughout the day
Due to location it is advisable to have your own transport, as no public transport comes here, or be able to arrange lifts through friends/family.
Pay: £10.85-£12.71 per hour
