Baby Room Leader / Nursery Supervisor
Maternity Cover, possible September–October start
Blue Door is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Baby Room Leader to join our friendly team and lead our nurturing, lively baby room while our current Room Leader is on maternity leave.
For a candidate with suitable wider leadership and supervisory experience, we would also consider appointing them as Nursery Supervisor, combining responsibility for the baby room with supporting the management team in the day-to-day running of the nursery.

Applicants must:
- Hold a relevant Level 3 childcare qualification recognised in Wales
- Have at least two years’ experience working in a baby room or with children aged 0–2
- Have strong knowledge of babies’ care, development, planning and observations
- Be confident leading and supporting a team
- Understand safeguarding and CIW requirements
- Build warm and professional relationships with children, families and colleagues
Previous room leadership experience is preferred. Candidates interested in the Nursery Supervisor element must also have suitable experience of supporting the wider operation of a nursery, maintaining standards and guiding staff practice.

- Salary is based on 40 hours per week, but we allow a minimum of 35 hours and can be worked over 4 or 5 days.

Pay: Up to £28,000.00 per year
