We're looking for an ambitious, commercially focused Depot Manager to join our team in Cardiff.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Daily operational management of the depot.
- Driving sales growth and delivering exceptional customer service.
- Building and maintaining strong customer relationships.
- Branch budgeting, cost control and P&L performance.
- Monitoring KPIs and identifying opportunities to improve performance.
- Managing equipment quality, fleet standards and depot presentation.
- Championing health, safety and compliance across all depot activities.
- Maximising equipment utilisation, stock availability and operational efficiency.
- Maintaining accurate business data and operating systems.
- Encouraging teamwork, accountability and continuous improvement.
What We're Looking For
- Experience in a management within the plant hire, tool hire, construction, builders' merchant, logistics or a similar operational environment.
- Strong commercial awareness with experience managing branch performance.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop people.
- Excellent communication and customer relationship skills.
- A proactive, hands-on approach with strong organisational ability.
- Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of health and safety.
