As one of the UK's fastest-growing independent used car dealerships, we're looking for an ambitious Sales Manager to take ownership of our sales operation. You'll lead from the front, driving performance across the team, maximising every sales opportunity, and ensuring customers receive an outstanding buying experience from enquiry to handover.
As our Sales Manager, your Key Responsibilities will include:
· Lead, coach and motivate the sales team to achieve targets
· Monitor sales performance, pipeline and conversion activity
· Deliver an excellent customer experience throughout the sales journey
· Oversee vehicle stock, pricing and trade-in decisions
· Support pricing, negotiations and finance applications
· Prepare sales forecasts and performance reports
· Develop team capability through coaching, reviews and training
· Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
· Collaborate with purchasing, operations, logistics and aftersales teams to ensure efficient vehicle delivery and customer handovers
What We’re Looking For:
· Proven experience in the motor trade (essential)
· A track record of success in sales management
· Strong experience in telephone and showroom sales
· A natural leader who can motivate, energise and inspire a team
· Highly driven, target-focused and passionate about winning
· Someone who leads from the front and thrives in a fast-paced environment
You'll also have:
· Strong commercial awareness and the ability to maximise profitability
· A proven track record of achieving sales and profit targets
· Strong negotiation and deal management abilities
· Full Manual UK Driving Licence (required)
